playa del carmen, diving with divemex

we just came back from an amazing holiday in playa del carmen. the diving there was really great.
after a little bit of research beforehand we decided to go for a small dive base in the centre of playa del carmen called divemex. well, we were not disappointed.
everyone there was so friendly and helpful and everything is very professional. you always dive in small groups of max. four divers per guide and everything is well organised. they also offer the advanced owd for free (you only have to buy the book) which me and my family decided to do there. it was a great experience, lots of fun and i learned a lot. diving in the cenotes was also amazing. with only 20 dives i was a bit worried at first and i never thought i would do it but since we had such a great guide whom i completely trusted i did it and enjoyed every second of it. all the time while i was diving with divemex i felt safe and well taken care of. and since it is such a small dive school it had that great family flair which is often missing if you dive with larger dive centres. not to forget the prices are very fair.

Sounds like you had a great time. I'm also going to playa to dive and I'm leaving this Saturday for 2 weeks. I can't wait.......
