I've enjoyed this site, since finding it a couple days ago. I am trying to find some new buddies to dive with, as I cant always get my buddy to put the boat in to go to Catalina. I've never dove Laguna, but I heard Moss street is very cool?....but can you hunt there?...Also where is Long Point....the only Long point I know is on Catalina...(swam with 2 giant sea bass last year)pasley:Meet before 08:00 a.m. at Long Point (old Marine Land) site and be ready to dive at 8:00 or as soon as the gate opens.

I've never dove there, but Mel will show me the way on Friday.
As Mel said, any of you on the board want to join us, be there by 07:45. At the very least, you can have a good laugh watching me try to do a rocky surf entry
Look here for an address, pictures, description, etc.:sessions:Where??......any streets, so i can look it up on Map point?
I would love to do a dive with you in Laguna or somewhere local. Also, Bruce and I are planning a early Saturday dive at the west end of catalina in a couple weeks. We will be going on his boat, and we have a couple spots that are unbelievable. You are welcome to join us, as we have a great time and are generally back to Long beach by 4:00pm. I'll be in touch.pasley:6610 Palos Verdes Drive South, Palos Verdes
Long Point is the old Marine Land site on Palos Verde Peninsula. See dive sites at http://www.sandeaters.org then click on dive sites.
For diving, you might want to look at the Sandeaters dive calendar. Not a club, no dues, no officers. Just a calendar with a dive scheduled every Sunday. There is also an e-mail list you can join. Then when you want to dive you just e-mail the list or someone will e-mail the list looking for a dive and you can say yes.
Or call me and lets go diving. Limited by wife to one or two a week, but I dive every week someplace.
Aerodog:Hmm, I have Friday off.....and no dive buddys for a Friday dive. Anyone know the local PV conditions the past couple days?
