Hi.

I have a DiveRite Junior Wing (precursor to the Trek Wing) and a Venture Wing. The Venture Wing is on my DR backplate, and I was trying to rig my Junior Wing to a Scubapro plastic backplate (the Junior Wing has only one set of cam slots in the middle, so fits the Scubapro BP cam slots nicely). The lower grommet of the Wing sits into the lower bolt depression in the BP (though I don't know how to secure it), but the upper Grommet hits barely off the upper edge of the tank mount depression (if I really tug at the Wing). In other words, it's not a great fit owing only to the grommets.

Has anyone ever put a pair of Wings with grommets on a plastic backplate? Are there any tricks? Does it matter if the grommets are not flush with the BP?

Thanks.
