Hi ALL

I am Planning my First TRAVEL to indonésia.

I have 2 options Manado or Lombok
Sheraton Lombok or Eco-divers Manado

To travel with family and make some dives
What is the best option

Forget Lombok!
Definitely Manado although there is little to do outside diving, though you do not say WHEN.
Depending on your interests and the length of stay, I would suggest either Bali or N/Sulawesi (not only Manado).

Bali is excellent both for diving and land sights : if it's a family trip I would suggest stay in Amed/Jemeluk then in Lembongan for diving, add some time in Ubud for land side and tourism.


Manado : Tasik Ria is a bit far away, with kids and excellent diving, you should also look at Bangka, Murex resorts proposes two locations nearby Manado, closer to town than Tasik Ria and in Bangka (even three locations if you are interested in muck diving in Lembeh) .
