My friends and I are planning to go Ticao from Feb 17 - Feb 25.


Any recommendation about accomodation and dive operators?

What is the price range of dive package in Ticao?

Any recommendation of "MUST GO" & "MUST DO" in Ticao?

Hi Wendy,

To get to Ticao, I would think that you'll need to get to Legaspi (Donsol town)so "Must Do" is the whale sharks (butanding) snorkelling. Also, pls do request for a dive at San Miguel.

I highly recommed Conz Paz (Adventurebound: http://www.adventurebound.com.ph/index.html). He is the guy who founded Manta Bowl & would be able to help with all the arrangements.

We heard that typhoon Durian caused serious damage to Ticao & Lapaspi.
Some dive operators stopped their operation and will only re-open in mid Dec.

Can any one give some updates to us??

How many resorts are there on Ticao Island?

Just got an email from Ticao Island Resort. There is only little damage in Ticao and Donsol. I quote ´Positive is, that the area around Ticao and Donsol was not affected. Only small damage. This will be done the next days.´
