Do the Keys, you'll not regret it.

Be sure to talk to the dive operations and let them know you are a new diver. There are great dives in the 25' range for you to get your bearings. We just got back from the Keys and my wife (having not dived much) wanted to keep it simple. Ended up using two operations (Amorey and Horizon Divers) to accomidate easy dives.

Chris Hipp:
Isnt the divequest only 30 minutes long??? Is the $125 on top of the regular park admission? I would like to do it sometime but that is a little steep for me.

It is expensive, but you can get 10% off with coupons from PADI, or 20% off if you have one of the Disney visa cards. Also, the proceeds go to an environmental fund so at least part of the cost could be considered a tax deduction.

You don't need a park admission to do Dive Quest, and they will let you out into the park after you are finished. You can do the earlier dive to get more time in the park or the 2nd dive and get a few more minutes in the water. They will even give you a second tank if you're a hoover and there is still at least 5 minutes of time left for the dive. We really enjoyed it.
