I was last in St. John, in Sept. 03. The cottages as Maho were in operation then and I've no reason the think anything has changed.
 
Thanks for the info. I'm going to St. John this week. I took a refresher course yesterday and look forward diving. I'll use Cruz Bay Waterspots, since I'm staying at the Westin. Hope the weather clears up.
