Hi, im new here on the forums however i am an advanced open water diver of sorts. Anywho i was just wondering if anyone knew of some really cool beginner spots. See i've been tryin to get my family into diving for a while now and figured maybe a dive trip for xmas might be the right forumla for the equation. Yes I've herd about Balmorea thats where i got my open water cert. however we live in the New Braunfels Area so driving 7 hours for a 30 minute dive just doesnt fit the cost/benefit analysis bill you know. cause lets be honest if you ever dived Balmorea before yes its nice but its small and in the middle of friggin no-where'sville and after about 30 you've seen all there is to see(the town included hah!) im not oppsed to taking them say down to the coast or up north dallas area or maybe even more north if its worth it just trying to find something cool and moderatly inexpensive so if yall have any ideas lets hear em! thanks a bunch yall
