Time your trip from jan - May and you'llhave glassy seas conditions. NEVER EVER go to palau in July to early september, the swells at the best divesites such as the blue corner and west facing sites have huge swells. If you stay on the big liveaboards they anchor in the german channel so its like staying in a hotel. and the rides to the dive sites are 10 min or less.
