Thanks for sharing your pics! I'm going to Nassau in November and haven't seen many pictures of the diving there so that was really awesome! Was that a real skull?!

Also, was it worth it to do the shark dive? It certainly looked fun. Thanks!
 
No the skull isnt real. It was part of a plastic skeleton that was used for a movie. They left it there after filming for the divers. When we were there, only the skull and one of the spines was left.

Yes i think the shark dive us definately worth it. We did get a chance to see sharks on our other dives but this was the best opportunity to get close to them.

Wow, I did that same dive in Aug. '09, and there were quite a few, completely intact, (fake) skeletons.
Did the SC people mention why/how the number of "bones" decreased?
[storms, currents, natural fish activity, souvenir hunting divers?? ]
