I just don't log dives
I carpooled with Arnaud and Ana (Wrinkles) to the dive site. Pasley's directions were perfect. Met up with some SB folks and had a great dive. I had planned on doing two, but we got in later than anticipated and I had only budgeted time for a half day - so we went to lunch instead of taking another dive.

Beautiful resort, interesting underwater topography - just not the greatest viz. Still had a wonderful time with the crew.

Wrinkles next dive outing is in late April. Details coming soon.

Here is the gallery. Click on the link and you'll be taken to the gallery from today's dive. If you click on the thumbs, it'll provide a larger image and some commentary.

Thanks everyone!

What?!?!? No fried desserts?

Before you let the walls of your blood vessels thicken permanently, try this quick cure. Jog around the block three times, load your gear, drive to the boat dock, load, launch, descend to 95 feet ( optimal depth for grease removal ), rinse & repeat...

Sure to cure what Rubys did to your circulatory system....

( Grease, the other white meat )

Ken,

Thanks for posting the pics from the dive! I enjoyed everyone, wishing that I could have met up with all of you today. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to dive until tomorrow afternoon.

Hmmmmmmmmmm......Ruby's, they have the BEST Chocolate Malts! My lactose intolerance kicks in, but oh..........so worth it! LOL

I hope to catch the next outing. Hopefully, it won't be during the time that I have my kids.

Nice pics, one of these days i will make a dive with you guys,I dont know about those steps though they look pretty tough.Just curious how many people showed up,it sounded like a lot of people were going to try to make it.Well by the pics it looks like it was a good time,oh well maybe next time.

Was very fun yesterday. Nice meeting you all. Me and Pasley ended up doing divers cove last night. No bugs, but we had this seal that wouldn't leave us alone. Scared the heck out of me initially :) We saw some interesting sleepiing fish along with a stingray in the sand. When the seal moved inbetween me and Pasley and started nipping on my fins and his bag, we decided to call it. Even when we surfaced the seal followed us. I thought he might come home with one of us. But sadly he was not there when we came out of the water.

I look forward to an LACo dive. See you next month!

Well, those group dives have comforted the opinion that 95.72356% of Socal SB members are just either (i) cyberdivers, or (ii)...diving elsewhere :D

Saintsfan, those steps were OK, but it was a lot of not too rewarding work. Luckily, the company was good! And a so-so dive is still a lot better than no dive at all.

Finally, as far as the food is concerned, the next place we spoke about will have both fried and steamed food.

And before I forget, that Double King with Cheese was mighty good last night!

Or are waiting for their sinuses to clear. Looks like it was a good time -- hope I can catch up with y'all next time. Oysters?! Sounds good, too.

I had a great time with everybody. The site leaves a little to be said for but like everyone said the company was great. I even have my own personal wet suit washer now. LOL. When you done washing it Deb let me know and I will come pick it up. HEHEHE. :54:

A good ol Ken left me a tank holder in my bag. I think he is trying to tell me something.

Next month the dive will be out here in our home turf. Good ol LA county. And like Arnaud said we will have something a little more exciting to eat although the ckn fingers and onion rings i ate were mighty yummy.

Thanks for everyone who showed up. I had a great year anniversary with everyone. MAUH.:party2:
