get a strobe and that will add alot of color into them. Other than that they are good pics
 
Great pics. The swimming turtle is the money shot! I enjoy taking amateur underwater shots. 'Picasa' is a photoshop option available for free from Google does a great job of touching up, cropping and balancing the brightness of photos. Options are not as diverse as Photoshop Elements or other software programs, but I can only handle simple tasks any more.....

Per other poster, a strobe makes a huge difference in getting colors to pop. Getting as close to the object (without damaging the coral of coarse) and photographing the object above or next to you versus below you give your photo more depth, less shadows and less glare. Sounds like you had a great vacation with a new, addicting hobby ;)
