Why? No reason not to rebuild it and dive it. ...The guts of the first stage are the same as most USD diaphragm regs and the seconds have common parts....The Conshelf kit from Vintage Double hose will work fine.

I am far from what could be called a Dacor fan......but the 360 is the best thing they ever made.....same design as the Conshelf and MR12........not sure that the USD seat fits.

ahhh, i was under the impression there weren't any kits to rebuild it...plus, i am not sure it is the 360...it has the 1HP, 3 LP ports and it says 300 on the knob. i would like to rebuild it, if possible, and use it.

The 300 and 350 are earlier versions of the 360.
One of the problems with Dacor was that they didn't have a common (to the line-up) HP seat whose dimensions remained unchanged over years (unlike USD/AquaLung).

I haven't got any Dacor regs left to try the AquaLung seat and see if it's a fit.
If you find it doesn't, do a search.....several members have Dacor parts but unless you are emotionally attached to this reg a Conshelf would be a better choice to restore.

See if this helps.

Last time I tried, the outer diameter of the USD seat was too large to drop into the chamber, a few seconds on the grinder making it round instead of the square shape it comes in allowed it to drop in and work. The actual seat was the same. Shaft diameter was the same, stem length was a couple of ten thousands shorter than the new style but longer than old style.

When tested on the bench and subsequent dives it worked well.

I read somewhere that Trident is making repro parts for Dacor regs. Check with a Trident dealer. I think Dolphin Scuba is one. Vintage Double Hose is another.

thank you all...not emotionally attached to it but for $20, i wanna give it a go. thanks again.

i have googled, bing"ed", searched but cannot find when this reg was produced....any help? thanks.
