Go out where the waves are just starting to break, pick a good wave, swim into shore until it starts to crash on you, put your arms over your head (pointed to the beach) and ride. Just be careful when you get near shore as the wave may dump you unceremoniously and face-first in the sand. If you survive it is awesome.
