Does anyone know a physician in Tustin, that can do the required physical exam for my DM?
I have called two, and they have no clue what I am talking about.

Edit... I have called at least 7 now... No one knows how to do this....

Just have your MD sign off on the form, no? There's nothing "to do" other than go through the form.

It might be how you're asking the question to the doctor's offices. It's the same questionnaire and form that an Open Water student needs to get completed if he answers "yes" to any of the questions.

your primary care physician should be able to give you a clearance to dive based on your last physical.

I sort of had the problem when I needed my DM physical. I went to my primary care doctor and she was getting a little nervous about signing off because she thought it was some new diving thing I was getting into that entered into a whole new level of diving and difficulty. When I explained that I would be doing the same things I was already doing when I am diving and was doing fine with my swimming training and cardio workouts the light went on and she signed off without a problem.

The most physically demanding part of the DM job is making a rescue if needed. The rest is no more physicaly demanding than regular diving. The swim tests are a bitch if you are not in good shape especially the tired diver tow.
