At 29 meters there is a coral block with normally some sleeping sharks below it. I would not call that shallow.

OP said he liked the dives to 40+ meters so for him it still might be a shallow dive.

Anyway, thanks for pointing one more selling point to diving Koh Doc Mai. :)

I hope the OP knows what he's doing, that he plans his 40 meter + dives carefully with a qualified buddy, that he brings all the right equipment and that he chooses the right mix.
