Hi guys.. just discovered this wonderful board. New to fish ID, could use some help with these nice stuff I saw down in Phuket, Thailand over Labour Day weekend.

About a meter long, smallish head in crevice. 10m deep.

Pipefish? In the sand, very small about 30 cm long. 12m.

Stonefish? At the reef, about 0.5m. 15m.

Fimbriated or Blackspotted moray? In the crevices, 1 m long.

Another moray. This one is smaller.. about half a meter long.

This moray was also stuck in the crevice. About half a meter long.

About 10 cm long. Fast moving fish, hiding behind some staghorn at the seabed.

I did.. being colourblind and shape blind didn't help. And I think I aced my biology in high school because of my essay on human reproduction. Didn't attempt the question on marine ecology.
