Thanks for the link. Photoshop is so multi-faceted it's hard to figure out how to begin.

That website looks like it will be a great help.

found this out the other day:

if you select the crop tool in photo shop you can type in some dimensional parameters in the boxes at the top and it crops to thoses dimensions.

i.e i put all my photo's on my web at 640 x 480, when i do a manual crop they all come out different sizes and make the web page look messy.

doing it this way i can crop then resize to 640 x 480 and it is perfect!
