:06: Does anyone by any chance know if with photoshop 3.0, if you can take a picture with one background..can it be changed to a different one??? any help would be appreciated. thanks

Are you talking about Elements 3.0?

PS 3.0 would have to be 15-20 years old.

If you are talking about Elements....yes you can. I know just enough about PS to be dangerous :). There is usuall 2-3 ways to do any task. The way I would do it (a little tedious though) would be to take the magnetic lasso and capture my image. Then I would select inverse and then work on the background. There should be a way to do it in layers but I haven't progressed that far yet.

HTH,
Dave

I would select what I want for the foreground with the selection tool (feathered). Copy it and insert it into the picture that is to be the background. What two pictures are you thinking of?
