No I didnt get a trip report in but did have an interesting experince on the Shinkoku Maru. After seeing the usual things (operating table with bones, medicine bottles, baths) My buddy and I split form the group to In aft section of the vessel is a secondary accomdation area, with 2 decks and a galley in the rear. There are several doors open on both sides and you can easily penetrate through one and then the other. On the port side on the main deck just inside the entrace, I turned to the right and saw a storage locker for blue navy uniforms. The uniforms are still stacked in the aft part of the bulkhead. I hooked my reel and continued in, In the silt thier are several pieces of china and a small japanese story book, buttons, and a teapot. There were several stalls at this level that looked like crew quarters. There is alot of exporing here but mind the silt, it is thick.

I went up to the next deck and entered through the port entrance, this time I saw more beautiful china and human remains mostly arm and leg bones, there seemed to be alot of it back in this part of Shinkoku amongst the other artifacts.

Nice photos. Chuuk was the best diving I've ever done, everything now feels like training for my next trip this spring. No trip has ever made me spend so much on gear afterward :( Only a 1.5 hour flight too :14:

Very nice pictures, and it must tell a vivid history lesson. Very sobering with the pics of the human remains.
