Here are some pics from yesterday. Not up to most of your standards, but I'm getting better!

Nice pictures, Jakubson. What sort of camera setup are you using?

(I would guess an Oly 5050Z a PT-015 and an INON D-180 based on his signature - but you know what they say about "assume")

OOps.....somebody looks pretty stupid. I didn't assume and yet I still managed to make an *** out of me.

In this case, it would be OK to assume! It was the 5050/ PT-015/ INON D180.

I don't know how anyone gets a shot of those Harbor Seals. They cruise by so fast usually that by the time I lift the camera they're behind me and laughing.
Believe it or not, this guy was lying on the bottom, just checking me out. So I just slowly drifted to the bottom and kept snapping. We were eye to eye for about 20 seconds, then he slowly cruised away. He came back a minute later, hung vertically (head up) like he was standing, and watched my buddy and I for another minute.

The other two harbor seals on that dive acted like you say - I didn't even try to take pictures of those guys. They were much younger. The one in the picture was a big old boy - I'd estimate 5 feet or so.

Thanks for the kind words, folks.
