These are all unbelievable. Reminds me I have a long way to go. I'm excited people are sharing pics again, this is awesome. Trying to get into macro a bit. I'll be in the Keys in April fine tuning. You all have such awesome skill. Keep it going!

Nice shots - Cozumel never dissappoints and you're taking full advantage! Do you find that two strobes makes a huge different as opposed to one? I really like not carrying around a 'bigger' rig, but I think I need the extra light.A lot of awesome photos. Can't wait to get back to Cozumel for the New Year. These are from my last Cozumel trip. TG-6, 2 Sea & Sea YS-01 Strobes. I will be trying a new camera for the next trip.
I always worried about the same thing, but once I got the packing and folding down, it's so easy. I also got Cine Bag (which has issues, but is all in all great) and it fits into an overhead on a plane carrying everything from my housing, strobes, camera, GoPro setup, all my spares and equipment. If the Army taught me one thing, it's how to pack!Nice shots - Cozumel never dissappoints and you're taking full advantage! Do you find that two strobes makes a huge different as opposed to one? These are incredible! You guys and your macro skillz.I really tried to resist posting every picture that captured my imagination. I have so many pictures of the 'usual suspects' and tried to include pics that were different in some way. I'm obsessed with sargeant major eggs - especially since I've discovered that when they're pink they're new, and when they're gray you can see the eyeballs! Also obsessed with getting the perfect shot of file fish in their different varieties. The second to last one is a bumblebee shrimp on a pineapple sea cucumber - a guide pointed this out to us once and I've been looking for another and never find them. The pic right before the pic of me is of the tip of a starfish - don't know which orifice it is, but it was colorful! I could do this all day ... love everyone's shots.
Oh, I've got a TG6 with Inon S2000 strobe and PT059 housing. I tried the air lens and felt I couldn't get close enough for macro so ditched it after two days.

Thanks! You know that for every good photo there are half a million poor ones, right?! I get so frustrated when my husband (who has the same setup as me) gets a better shot with less effort. Is the Canon a big upgrade - and does it require manual settings?Hi Kimela, I always read your trip reviews because we seem to do the same type of trips, and your photos are always better than mine. I find for macro the single strobe worked fine. I only went for two because I have a hard time focusing on one subject type on a dive, and when shooting fish portraits or wide angle the single strobe gave uneven shadows that didn't look good. I probably would have better results if I just committed more to a particular discipline, but every time I tell myself I will do that, a group of eagle rays pass by or a black tip cruises past in the distance and I can't help myself. I will be trying a Canon G7X II on the next trip, and my wife will have the TG-6. Hopefully between the two of us we get some decent photos. I am going to Moorea for the first time in February, mostly for sharks, so I need to get the Canon dialed in before that. Great photos as always.
How do you do the blackwater pics? They're stunning! I've never done a blackwater dive and I'm so curious. Do you just find something, highlight it with a flashlight and then shoot? You can't just be shooting at nothing ...Andaman Sea, mostly Richelieu Rock. Sony A6300 in SeaFrogs housing, Retra Pro strobes.
That second one! The light you captured is wonderful! Were you using an air lens or something like that? Is this all natural light?Sharks, Rays, Turtles.. and I'm gonna post panfish. Water round here's frozen solid, but salt and shark free. Couple quarry shots from this summer I kinda like:
