I know, sounds like we are definitely dead in the water. I was surprised about the lack of refunds as well - I only paid the deposit, same as you fortunately.

Such a bummer. I'll be cancelling the rest of my Australia trip and hopefully have better luck next year.

Yeah, well keep safe man. Perhaps we'll meet up in August 2021? Predictions are 6-18 months until we get over this virus pandemic. By that stage we may be immune to the virus because we already contracted and (hopefully) recovered?
