Interesting when you look at this video and the thread yesterday about cameras, divers, and damage to the reef.
 
that photographer is lucky he didn't look up. he would have freaked and then been eaten. well, that is what i would have done. that is a big *** shark!
 
yow... close indeed. Z, is that you in the video?

also... i have to concurr with Victor... that guy is making contact with the coral
pretty much all along the stomach and legs. that's a lot of damage there in just
a few seconds.

(i am not talking about the reaction to the shark and later. i think
it would be justified to forget where you are at that point)
 
As the video proofs, sharks are not always dangerous. But when this would have happened to me, I would def. s**t myself...:11:
 
Gotta agree with the others. The first thing I noticed was the diver laying on the reef. Very bad form. You ought to get your buoyancy under control.

As for the shark, wow! he's big. Did he bump right into your head?

OK, I looked at it again. Maybe he wasn't on the reef until after the shark "attack"?
