Nice shots, looks like you had a good day! I don't take a strobe out there. Just get out there early!!!! Bird's is good, he'll take you out to the good spots like 3 sisters. I always rent a boat so i can get out earlier with less people and if you can go on a weekday thats KEY!

Have a blast, they are so photogenic!

What camera system did you use?

Here are some pics that I got back in December. I used a DC500 set on "auto" with the flash turned off. The first 2 pics were early,overcast/foggy conditions, taken in the spring. The next 2 were later with the sun out, taken in the river.
They are not as good as the pics that Becky posted, but visibility wasn't the best when we were out. Bird's took us to 3 Sisters because that was the only place w/ acceptible visibility. (I thought the vis was awesome compared to what I'm used to.)

We saw Manatees while coming back from diving in Belize. That was one of the coolest experiences I have ever had in 120 dives. Have fun.

well, I just did my snorkel with the manatees.
1. About three hours down the road, bleep, I forgot my digital camera back home, so I picked up a cheap disposable cameras at CVS, the film is being developed now. (stupid me)
2. The water was not near as clear as in the pics, guess it depends on the site.
3. It was a blast, they are like big puppies, although we were told we had to stay on the surface (no diving under the water) to snap a pic.

hey scotty i'm going there in April, who did u use?
