I haven't seen anythign posted here regarding this yet.

A lot of folks here use e-Bay to buy and sell. I just got an e-mail from suspension@ebay.com, subject: FPA NOTICE: eBay.com Registration Suspension - Invalid Contact Information. It said my e-Bay account was being suspended for violation of site policy, that is, falsifying or omitting personal information.

Uh-huh.

And there's a link where I can conveniently enter in all my personal info, to include SSAN and credit card data.

Yes, I forwarded the e-mail to e-Bay, who just confirmed it's phishing.

Beware, folks.

Despite receiving a number of them, I never reply to e-mails from "E-Bay," "Paypal," etc. So far nothing bad has ever happened to my accounts despite the warnings in the e-mails.

There is a link to report any suspicious e-mails. Basically E-bay then asks you to forward the e-mail to them so they can investigate.

that link is spoof@ebay.com or spoof@paypal.com ........ they will send you a email back saying that they didn't send you that junk and thanking you for reporting it to them .........
