Philippines potential diving holiday

It's the lesser of two evils, right? That was certainly my opinion on it. Does it change the behavior and its it unnatural - yes. Does it stop the fisherman going out to catch other stuff and provide some level of awareness and conservation - of course.

I heard there are whalesharks elsewhere - and they are going up to boats. Presumably they have spent time at Oslob and migrated. Who knows?

I would like to know what the diving is like up and down the coast there, maybe they could expand and get a real eco tourism industry going if they get it right from the off.
