Hello everyone,

My family and I are planning a trip to the Philippines next year and would love some advice from anyone who has done a similar vacation.

We’re looking for a family-friendly, all-inclusive (if possible) dive resort with both great shore diving and boat diving. Ideally, it would be the kind of place where we can just settle in and enjoy without needing to move around too much. Bonus points if there are nearby activities like zip-lining, ATV tours, or exploring, though that’s not a deal breaker.

Since we’ll be traveling with a toddler, we’d also prefer a location that doesn’t require multiple domestic flights after landing in Manila.

General info:

  • Flying out of SFO
  • Group of four: two adults, one 12-year-old, and a toddler
  • All certified divers except the toddler
  • Planning for 14 vacation days once we arrive
  • Budget: $13K max (excluding flights)

Any recommendations or personal experiences would be super appreciated

Thanks in advance!

Puerto Galeria would probably suffice, usual suspect El Galleon, Lalaguna Villa's etc. - most diving is from boats and unless you go to Verde are really close to the resorts

As mentioned El Galleon is nice. With a family I'd lean towards Atlantis Dumaguete. With DEMA coming up Atlantis usually offers two-resort combos and also a couple of free nights on their packages. The Magic Resorts are also nice. Shoot me a note and I'd be glad to get you a couple of quotes.
