HI Alcina,
4 days cancelled, but it was actually 5 tours. On the sunday i was booked on the whaleshark (with my friend who was leaving monday) but that got cancelled due to lack of numbers. I then changed back to my original muiron trip which was cancelled due to weather. I was also advised that my trip for tomorrow had only 2 people booked on so would likely be cancelled also. This confirmed my decision to leave. I completely understand the weather cancellations. But for the others, sometimes you should not focus on the immediate bottom line. I'm an accountant and even i understand how important customer advocacy is over the short term profit. Can you imagine the glowing report I'd be giving EDC had you instead chosen to run the trip at a loss just to ensure that i had a enjoyable trip and managed to experience the best of Exmouth (it was a magic day today). Like Gudge's strong support for you, it does create a lot of future business, both from myself who is local to australia and not a O/S tourist dropping by for a couple of days whilst travelling the Wet Coast, and for my many friends who are also divers and like minded travellers. In the end the recommendations i would have given about Exmouth and your dive company in particular would have far outweighed your loss for today. I was still happy with staff, crew etc, so won't be not recommending you guys, but i will definitely be advising people to have backup companies to call on and know their timetable so they can avoid the disappointment i faced.
