I'm a chick (no offense taken) and I haven't gotten around to naming any of my inanimate objects. Not even the '82 911 Targa which rightfully deserves a name, I suppose (any suggestions?). I guess I'm too busy keeping the names for all the animate objects in my life straight. Two dogs, six cats, a horse and six cows, oh, and one boyfriend. Yes, even the cows have names, at someone else's insistance, even though personally I don't think that something that will end up on somebody's plate should be named. Just makes it easier at market time. However, I have been thinking lately about personalizing my gear with a cool logo or stickers or something. Does that count? I am in the process of assembling my doubles and like the idea of naming the tanks, though.

My northern diver "dry" suit was affectionately known to me as "******ing pile of leaking ***** suit".

The RIB is also knowing as "damned f--king boat/engine".

Other than that, no - i name nothing.

interesting thread. I named most of my electronics on my boat. My loran used to be larry (the loran). Danny depth finder. The GPS is (you guessed it) George. The radar is.. Radar (ala MASH)
I dont have much SCUBA equipment yet but my booties are known to all far & wide as Stinky (the mushroom farm)
