Pennyroyal Scuba 28 May-14 June

I will be in Western Ky for National Guard training during the days above. We usually get 2- 4 days off and I always spend them diving and camping. If anyone wants to hook up and dive give me a buzz of when. Later

I'm off the weekend of May 28th (have to work on the 29th though). I am also off the weekend of June2-4. If you don't mind diving with a realative newbie, I'm game. Pennyroyal is only an jour from where I live & I'd be willing to commute those days down there. I'm not much into primative camping any more, but I'm looking at trying to get in as much diving as I can this summer. Just let me know.

I should be down there that same weekend. My fiance should be doing her open water checkout dives and another friend of mine who is certified will probably come along too. Will keep in touch when i know more.

I just dove there last Sun May 28th. The recorded temp was at 71. I think it was closer to 68 or so. There were a few colder spots here & there, but they were small and you could swim out of them quickly. The owners pump the warmer surface water to the deeper parts so the warmer temps are at all depths. I was quite comfortable in a 3mm suit with no hood or gloves (what a refreshing change from a 2pc. 6.5mm suit)! The viz was about 15- 20'. Had a good time!

I have weekends off from June 24- July 8 if you are at all interested let me know. It takes me about 1 1/2 hours to get down there (can't camp, I have too many criiters to care for at home).

To Scubagal28- Sorry, I got my lines mixed up. I dove at Cerulean, not Pennyroyal this last weekend (I've got to start remebering what I'm doing & where I'm at- must be a touch of old age setting in). My instructor said its about 62-65 degrees above 30'. They were there for a class last weekend.

Don't worry about it.....I knew when you said they pumped the water you were talking about Cerulean.

If ya'll get a exact date set I'll try to meet you there. I went to Pennyroyal twice last year and had a blast both times.
