So what are the most penetration worthy wrecks in the Great Lakes in the 100 ft depth range? Some wrecks are not worthy going into whereas some look like they are underwater museums with well preserved machinery and scattered artifacts etc.

Which ones comes to mind?

Glenorchy looks like one hell of a dive!

Man made:

Wolf Islander (St. Lawrence River)
Niagara II (Tobermory)

It was @Trace Malinowski that had done an essay on the "end of the golden era of wreck diving". There are no "new" wrecks, and the existing are truly going to their demise in terms of stability...... sadly, we are reaching a close of that chapter.....

I wonder that too sometimes. Ships seem to have stopped sinking which is good in a way but no new wrecks.

The Milwaukee Car Ferry is said to be an awesome wreck inside, but people I trust have said it’s too unstable to safely penetrate, although I know people who still do.

It’s off Milwaukee in Lake Michigan. Awesome wreck on the outside.
