Penang, Langkawi & Palau Payar

Going to Penang for 10 days, know someone who went snorkeling there a day ago & said viz was aweful, any recent dive reports? I'll be there September 5-10. Is this a decent time to go diving? Any recommendations for dive operators? I'll only be able to get away for a day trip. Thanks!

It's a bad time for diving in Langkawi/Pulau Payar. Weather is really bad the whole month. Perhaps you may get lucky for an outbreak of sunshine. East Marine dive operator that you can trust in Langkawi or you can check with Manta Divers at Maple Gold Recreation Club in Georgetown,Penang.
