I have a Pelican Super Saber Submersible.
It uses two "C" sized batteries and has a depth rating of 500ft. Bought this light before I was certified and when I worked for a Medical Oxygen company to be used in oxygen rich environments. Didn't realize then it was actually a dive light. Anyone ever use this light before? I will only be using it as a daytime light in the local lakes.

I discovered Pelican Super Sabers when I learned how well they fit your hand when holding a reel. They're often used as a backup for cavern and cave and wreck dives. Small but focused light, very adequate for typical night and wrecks dives, but clearly minimal light production in very dark environments.

Why I still use them is beyond me tho. Right now I have 5 or 6 Pelicans (or their close cousins, the Hubble) on my workbench, waiting for me to strip and clean them (again). I have a supply of extra o-rings, and regularly swap them out and add a touch of sillycone grease, to keep them fresh. Doesn't matter. I flood a Pelican approximately 1 out of every 10 dives I use it for. Never flooded another light. Maybe its just me, but I fing they work best when walking the dogs. Mind you I still use them, but I'm the type of diver who doesn't mind a night dive without a light.
