Saturday a few us headed out with Panama City Dive Charters to do a couple deep dives. Seas were calm, sunny skies, boat was empty, so we had a great time. We dove the BJ Putnam and the Chipewa. Surface temp was about 75, bottom 70, viz was 20 on the first, 10 on the second. No real excitement, other than i forgot to replace the battery in my computer so it wouldnt let me dive and just beeped at me. Then I borrowed a Manta as a bottom timer, which I forgot to change to guage mode and so it put me into deco about 5 minutes from NDL and then wouldnt tell me my bottom time anymore. GRRR. Didnt affect my diving, just annoying.

Good pics. What type of bottom time did you get?

What is that yellow pipe looking thing on the side of the mask?

A snorkel of course, never know when youll have to swim back to shore. Think we did 20mins on each dive, 100ft depth. 32% nitrox.

I had a few problems with my video housing and LCD display on the first dive (BJ Putnam) but got them worked out on the second. The three clips attached are from the USS Chippewa (ATF 69) a WWII Atlantic tug in 105feet of water. We hit a thermocline on the decent dropping vis from 50-60 feet to 10-15.

I'll go back through and see if I can pull any decent clips out for the Putnam, max depth 111feet.
