Here are a few shots from the past weekend in our chilly BC water (44 f). It was the first time out with the camera so I still have lots of practice.

Sorry about the backscatter in the last two. I switched to video for the sea lions and it worked out much better.
 
For your first time, you did a great job! They are all nicely focused and have interesting subjects.

Very nice photos. I really like the last one because the sea lion looks like a cartoon character. :)
 
Very nice. Not to be too critical, but the anemone could be a really awesome shot if you get down a bit, shoot up at the face of the anemone.
 
Thanks for the kind words. I know I have lots of practice yet to go and all criticisms are welcome. It's the only way to get better. For my first time with the camera it was almost a case of information overload plus I wanted to just enjoy the dive site.

I shot with a Canon G11 and Ikelite DS51 strobe.
