I am currently finishing my contract in Fiji and will be available by December 1st. I am most interested in working in Indonesia or the Pacific islands, but would think about working most places.

I decided to give up my legal consulting career to become an instructor because I love diving, and sharing this passion with my students and divers even more. Whatever my mood, breathing underwater and hanging out with the fishes puts a smile on my face. I would love the opportunity to share this joy with your divers.

I have been working as an instructor for about six years and am told I am quite good at it. I am patient, hard working and comply with PADI standards. I have worked in Asia, Africa and am now working in Fiji. I have always gotten along well with the other staff and have a lot of experience working in remote locations.

I have done a lot of different things in my life: I studied microbiology, managed coffee shops, became a lawyer and worked as a technology consultant on major trials throughout the US. Through this, and my varied interests, I can always find someway to relate to my divers; for many, I can make them think for at least a little while that they would be willing to give it all up to pursue their passion too.

Finally, I am intelligent, creative, understand peoples motivations, have a twisted sense of humor (in a good way for the most part), and bring a lot of unique skills with me.

There is a link below to some of the things my students have been saying about me on Trip Advisor, my CV and a recent photo. Feel free to contact my current employers if you would like some more information about me.

Thank you for your consideration and hope to hear from you soon,

    Chris Ryan
