I agree. In my experience, I have been on jobs where the company man is so far up our cases and they wanted to see everything. On the other hand, i've dealt with companies that couldn't care less. All in all I think its an interesting idea.
 
I'm using the idive 300 on tech dives. I keep it in another box until I'm in deco, then crack that and enjoy something other than rock paper scissors & wet magazines on the stops. I wouldn't expect it to be good for barrel deco for all the aforementioned reasons.
