Stuck at home for the past two months has been a real drag...just kidding. I've gone diving a few times and cycling the rest of the time to make sure my drysuit will fit. I took a day off the bike to get in a dive today. We sat out the fog for two hours before finally heading out to a local reef rather than venture very far in the white blanket around Palos Verdes.

We settled for Golf Ball Reef. Jim Lyle dived there on Monday and reported seven feet of visibility. We were lucky. It was at least eight feet today! After an hour of searching for photo subjects that were few and far between we headed home. We'll try again tomorrow.

Thanks for the post. I am gonna get out diving this weekend in the Hood Canal- my favorite spot: https://sundrock.com/
Last dive there a few weeks ago was interesting. Massive algae bloom and 6 inches of visibility until we reached 60 feet. Then opened up into a daytime night dive. Saw 9 distinct wolf eels, schooling rock fish in abundance and a giant sea star engulfing the head of a decent sized dead ling cod. Camera lights weren't working, so no pics. Hopefully this weekend I can get some.
