I've been shooting photos up until now, but am thinking that I might like to dabble with video as well. (Note "dabble" as in not get heavily $-invested yet).

I've got a Panasonic PV-GS31 that I've used topside. Anybody have any idea of a housing that is at all compatible with this exists?

Check with Equinox or Aquavideo. Neither specifically show your model but both have a universal housing to house any camcorder.
