Panasonic Housing and strobe ?

Anyone using the Panasonic housing with a strobe using the inon w35 cap adapter? I am having issues with setup and I am leaving for vacation in 5 days. My question is I am using a Sea&Sea YS-01 and I am trying to use the ttl mode. Am I supposed to block of my flash on my camera inside the housing like photo 1? Or should I block off the flash completely like photo 2? I am new to the whole strobe thing and could use some help

You need the light from your flash to fire your strobe. You can cover the flash internally with a piece of exposed film or you can cover the outside of the housing (around the flash) with black tape.
