I don't have "any skin in the game" or "a dog in the fight" or what ever metaphor you prefer.

I will say this though. I used to have a Panasonic 8mm f/3.5 like what the OP is trying to sell, and it was an amazing lens underwater. If you are considering this lens, I would strongly recommend that you jump on this. Assuming that it is in good condition, it might just become your "goto" lens.
