My wife and I ran away to Panama City Fl. for the weekend with a group from Dive Sports (http://www.divesports.com) and had a great time diving with Hydrospace. The weather was great on the surface and down below. We made 4 dives over the weekend, including a night dive on the Black Bart, and it was great. Costs were $285 pp and included the dives, Nitrox fills and 2 nights room at the Holiday Lodge next door to Hydrospace.
We went out on the Island Diver both days with Shannon as the captain. Great boat and a great crew. All dives were artificial reef dives, 2 ships (Black Bart night Saturday and morning Sunday) and a section of the Hathaway Bridge. We had a slight thermocline at about 50 ft. on each of the dives and water temps were 72-74 above and 67-68 below. Visability was in the 50-70 ft range. It was a great weekend and a good chance for us to use our new HP 120 tanks and to get prepped for our upcoming Dry Tortugas trip.
