My buddy and I are going to panama city to do some diving next week. We where wanting to do a shore dive after out boat charter and knock out a night dive.

Only thing I have really found is the Jetties out of St. Andrews State Park. But it closes at dark didn't know if that is an issue or not. Also the tides won't be in the best of our favor.

Wondering if there are any other shore areas that would interesting for a night dive?

Thanks in advance!

It might make sense to call the Dive Locker or another LDS and see if they have any recommendations. I've noted on the Dive Locker's website that the only shore dive noted is the Jetties, which makes me think that it is the only option: but you never know.

You can shore dive at the jetties only if you camp at the park, which I have done. That is how I recall it being. That or launch a kayak but the closest place for that is also in the park.

Turns out pretty much the just the jetties are worth it but our boat dive took a bit longer and made us a bit more tired than we thought it would. We found a hotel and dove Morrison spring the next morning. Thanks for the tips!
