Went out on Pat's boat this last weekend. Seas were calm, very little current and the water surprisingly blue.
I have all the big fish pictures I will ever need, so went looking for blenny images. But before that, I have been trying to get pictures of the shrimp that live in gorgonian corals we have around here. Tiny transparent shrimp....the problem is, I cannot see them they are so small, so I just sort of shoot blindly...
Here is the best I could do this last weekend:
There are three in that picture.. all just a small amount out of focus. Darn.
Next up was looking for a species of blenny that is not a seaweed. And that was successful..
Only took me a hour slowly covering a bridge span to find these guys:
The reason it took so long was all the sea weed blennies:
Got a couple of other small fish:
And a couple of other interesting animals:
Don't have huge expectation diving out of Panama city, but this is a nice weekend.
Every site was covered in bait fish, and had larger fish feeding on them.. including schools of tuna at two location.. nice to see.
