Wow, those are great videos!! I especially liked the first one where there were dozens of sharks -- what kind and how big were they?

Grey reef and white tip's..... up to about 2.5m long.

I agree... love the shark shots... ;)

This was exactly what convinced me to get an u/w video setup, as there was just so much action in Palau that still camera shots just didn't do the place justice... :D

you are right about that! I was convinced to switch from still to video a few years ago when diving the kelp in california - I had sea lions swooping around me doing loops and stopping inches from the camera just to blow bubbles at me and take off again. I got one still picture... of bubbles and a fin. I got home and started researching video rigs!! LOL

Palau has great but challenging diving. As Shaun said, sometimes the current was so strong I couldn't even lift the rig up or push the start button. I got some great video of the ground many times. And the German Channel dives were some of my favorite dives ever, but the water was full of plankton so much of my footage wasn't usuable as my camcorder was trying to focus on all the little stuff instead of the big guys in the background. Either way, all the dives were amazing, and I think I got some decent footage...... well, enough that you can at least see why Palau is so special. :D
