Hi all, I'm going to Palau next month (:D)
I'm on somewhat of a time budget, but my plan thus far is to be on the Aggressor boat for 1 week (sunday-sunday) then spend 3-4 more days doing kayaking/more diving/??? out of Koror.
I'm traveling alone, so want to make sure I have plenty of booked activities so I don't get bored. Has anyone done kayaking trips in Palau (I'm looking at Sam's Tours for this) I'm particularly interested in an overnight / camping on the rock islands. Any other solo-friendly activities I might look into?

My other question is about Yap. It looks like the flight from Guam stops at Yap, so I'm thinking of spending 1 or 2 days in Yap prior to continuing on to Koror. Is it worth the trouble to lug all my stuff around Yap for just one day? I probably won't have enough time to bother trying to do any diving. I haven't looked too deeply at what activities / sights I might be interested in, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to look through yap, palau search results for other ideas, but I'm somewhat pressed for time to book my flights, so any advice to help me make sure I don't book too much / too little time at this wonderful destination would help me greatly.

one day in yap is not enough, i would suggest a week there on a future trip.
as for Palau, Sams is def who you want to go with, Ron the kayak guy can do the overnight thing in the rock islands no problem. you can also book all activities around the island with sams. perhaps a 4x4 trip up to the waterfalls would be fun.
Also, hang out at kramers at night for food and fun.. try to book the west plaza malakal hotel so you are close to both sams and kramers..
