Hello All,

I am seeking recommendations for Dive operators in Palau. I will be traveling on a budget so any suggestions are appreciated. I would also consider Live aboards.

You will likely get more responses if you post this in the Pacific Islands Forum.

Although I haven't dived with them, I've heard very good things about Palau Dive Adventures (I'm looking at doing a trip with them) from friends who have.

moved to Pacific Islands...

Sams tours. We've taken groups out with them for 5 years now, they have really good people and take care of their guests.

You will find that everyone has their favorite, but I think that just means that all of them are quite good. Of the two mentioned, Sams is probably the biggest operator in Palau and Palau Dive Adventures is one of the smaller ones. Sam's has its own restaurant, bar and Yacht Club. Palau Dive Adventures is just a small shop adjacent to the Sea Passion Hotel. The two of them, plus Neco Marine are all within walking distances of each other. The other operator that is often mentioned is Fish N Fins. It is a ways from the other operators. Fish N Fins has two liveaboards and Sams is partnered up with the Siren fleet, plus two private charters. All of the operators have hotel packages.

Sams tours was great when we were there!!!You can shore dive right from their dock and see awesome stuff! Have fun!
