Rahuck, pretty sure they were taken in the same place - German Channel Palau. Mine was taken in Feb last year.
Thanks - Yup, German Channel. That particular one was hanging around for quite a while - the wide black mark was pretty distinctive, as was the clipped wing. I think the guides were busy talking (via slate) to each other about it for a bit while we were hanging out there. Guess s/he's a regular.

yeah we got a beautiful show from him (notice the two male claspers) during our dive. Just kept doing circles around the cleaning station for us. Glad to see it in good health.

I will have to keep an eye out...I am heading over at the end of February.
