Our dive trip to Palau is coming up in April. I am looking for suggestions about where to go for breakfast. We will be staying at Palau Royal Resort and diving with Neco Marine. Breakfast at our resort is very expensive, so we need to find somewhere within walking distance. Any suggestions? There is lots of info on TripAdvisor about dinner places but not much info on breakfasts.
Thanks,

If you haven't already booked your rooms, call them and negotiate breakfasts into the deal. Make sure they know you're not a Japanese tourist.

Funny. you book the most expensive hotel in Palau but cant afford breakfast. Thats like buying a ferrari and not being able to pay the insurance.

Sorry, Insurance on a Ferrari is not a good analogy. Gas is the right analogy. Interesting first post, BTW.

Hmm...TripAdvisor reports aren't so good, especially the guy from Alabama who thinks they put seawater in the room to drink. We stayed at PPR. Just another drop in the trip bucket.

I'd agree $25 for breakfast can be a bit ridiculous. When possible I get my own breakfast food so I don't miss the morning boat.

The OP is staying at the PRR, Palau Royal Resort, not the Palau Pacific Resort. Sam's Bottom Time Bar and Grill serves breakfast and is within walking distance to the PRR. Neco also has the Drop Off Bar & Grill but I'm not sure if they serve breakfast.

you like that first post. stay tuned for more.

@Roberto Just an FYI... PPR is more expensive than PRR.

We dove with Sam's and lots of people were eating and drinking coffee at Sam's Bottom Time in the morning. You might want to see if you can go over to eat at Sea Passions. They had a pretty good breakfast that you might be able to buy a meal ticket for. Both of these options are a quick 5 minute walk from PRR.

I agree about trying to get it as a package. But why the Japanese tourist comment? The Japanese breakfast at the PPR (different place, i know) was wonderful. We ate most of our calories for the day at breakfast, much less at dinner, so price worked out.

Because out here, they gouge the Japanese tourists like you wouldn't believe. That's why breakfasts at PPR are so expensive. Some places have even been known to have separate price lists/menus, one for the Japanese and one for everybody else.
